St. Peter’s Cornhill Graffiti Removal

The Cornhill team has expressed concern with the state of the facade of St. Peter’s since it was plastered with graffiti in 2024 and we are delighted that work has begun this week to have the facade cleaned. The owner, St. Helen’s Bishopsgate is working with the very reputable historic building conservationists at DBR – who worked on the Elizabeth Tower restoration – to have this done as sensitively and appropriately as possible.

Scaffolding went up this weekend with a specialist team anticipating being on site for up to a month from the week commencing 17/03/2025.

St Peter’s is an extremely sensitive historical gem and it was critical all due process was correctly followed before these works could take place.

There are further plans for the large-scale restoration of St Peter’s.
